UN Women 2022 Asia-Pacific WEPs Awards LIVE Information Session

Applications for the 3rd edition of UN Women's Asia-Pacific WEPs Awards are now open through June 30! Are you curious whether you or your company qualifies to apply for the awards? Do you need support deciding which category your gender initiative fits?

Join us for our third live info session where we’ll give you all the details about the awards and categories, walk you through the application process, and answer any questions or concerns you may have.

The only regional awards initiative recognizing exemplary private sector action for gender equality aligned to the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs), the 2021 cycle received over 700 applications from 20 countries across Asia and the Pacific region.

For the 2022 WEPs Awards, the nominees will be recognized across 6 categories:
- Leadership Commitment
- Youth Leadership
- Gender-inclusive Workplace
- Gender-responsive Marketplace
- Community Engagement & Partnerships
- Transparency & Reporting

Each category will award a Winner, 1st Runner Up and 2nd Runner Up. While a business of any size or sector is eligible to be awarded, this year we will also award 3 additional SME Champions!
The WEPs Awards are organized by WeEmpowerAsia, a UN Women programmed funded by the European Union aiming to increase the number of women who participate and lead in businesses in the Asia-Pacific. Following the successful partnership in 2021 with Investing in Women (IW), the 2022 Awards has the continued support of the Australian Government.
